THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Kutzky Park neighborhood is located in the heart of Rochester, Minnesota, a few blocks west of the Mayo Clinic. Kutzky Park is distinguished by its tree-canopied streets and park – and beautiful older homes in a wide diversity of architectural styles, including: Craftsman, Bungalow, Four-Square, English Cottage, Cape Cod, and Colonial Revival. The neighborhood is surrounded by employment, shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities.

85-Mile Bike System

Rochester is well known for the world-renowned Mayo Clinic, but bicycling in this scenic southern Minnesota city is anything but clinical. The city’s robust, 85-mile network of bike trails meanders along the winding banks of the Zumbro River, through downtown, and past an assortment of unique, locally owned businesses.

Kinney Creek Brewery

Making several varieties of Midwest brewed beer and sourcing many ingredients from local neighbors. Currently introducing products to customers at the taproom, distributing to local liquor stores, bars and exchanging growlers. No food served, but carry-in or delivery allowed.

Gray Duck Theater & Coffeehouse

An independent, locally-owned movie theater committed to bringing a truly local and communal cinema experience. Screening Indie, foreign, documentary, and classic film in addition to hosting a variety of film events such as Q&As with filmmakers, after-film discussions, movie trivia nights, marathons and binges, non-profit spotlights, and much more. A consumer-owned natural foods store promoting healthy, sustainable, and cooperative living. Featuring in-store deli and bakery where all products are made from scratch, fresh produce, meat and seafood, bulk items, a wine, beer + spirits department as well as mercantile and housewares.

Little Thistle Brewing Co.

Rochester Farmers Markets are hosted by the Rochester Downtown Farmers Market Association, seeking to support sustainable agriculture and the family farm by sponsoring a market to provide farmers with a well-organized retail marketplace, providing local access to quality farm products, and strengthening the ties between the family farm and the community.
